Buckeyes for christ

Buckeyes For Christ, a program of the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road, is proud to welcome students to The Ohio State University and Columbus.

Our congregation and campus ministry involve believers from different backgrounds and offer opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations about faith. We have served students at The Ohio State University since the late 1890s and as a charter student organization since 1967.

We look to share the Gospel and serve as a place of spiritual growth for college students from Ohio State and other universities and colleges near Columbus.

Upcoming events

  • Aug. 25: The Bible Study at 7 p.m., COhatch, 1581 N. High St. We'll have free Chick-fil-A for dinner and begin our fall study on the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23. For entry to COhatch, someone from Buckeyes For Christ will be at the door, and you also may text 614-917-9348.The Bible Study is a weekly event and will occur every Tuesday through the end of the fall semester.
  • Aug. 26: Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 p.m., the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road, 1130 Fishinger Road, and an Ice Cream Social at Graeter's in Upper Arlington at ~8:15 afterward. Free transportation is available via our church van.
  • Aug. 30: Sunday morning worship (8:30 a.m. OR 10:45 a.m.) and Bible study (9:45 a.m.) at the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road. Our weekly Bible study topic for the fall is 1 and 2 Peter. Free transportation is available: Buckeyes for Christ - Van Schedule.
  • Sept. 1: The Bible Study at 7 p.m. at COhatch. It's Taco Tuesday! We will serve Taco Bell and continue our study on the Fruit of the Spirit.
  • Sept. 5: Adriatico's Pizza at ~11 a.m. at COhatch before the football opener against Ball State!
  • Sept. 26: Buckeyes For Christ tailgate in the French Field House parking lot. Time is TBA -- email me at b4c@fishinger.church for details after gametime is set.
  • Oct. 4: Chili Supper at the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road after evening worship at 6 p.m.. Transportation -- and, yes, all types of chili -- will be provided!
